Job Summary: The Material Handling Associate reports to the Warehouse Manager of FAS. Assists with setting up/pulling customer and inter-company orders. Stage product for truck loading. Assure product is received and stored properly. Work closely with procurement on product and stock levels. Keep warehouse in clean orderly fashion. Responsibilities and Essential Duties: •Unloading trucks (must be able to be forklift licensed). •Receive product in computer. •Place product in correct bin location. •Pull product for company division/branches. •Organize route and pull product for next day delivery. •Pull and UPS orders. •Fill out paperwork and sort correctly. •Keep warehouse clean organize. •Identify inaccuracies with warehouse product or paperwork Requirements and Qualifications: •Requires high school diploma or equivalent. •Must pass a DOT physical prior to employment. •Must pass drug/alcohol screening. •Flexibility with start and end times.Overtime expected. •Must be able to work at a quick pace while servicing all customer needs. •Is generally guided by established policy and procedures but receives daily/weekly guidance from superior for all projects, customer service issues and miscellaneous items. •Attention to detail is a must as errors may involve loss of customers. •Requires ability to use keyboard, monitor, phone, calculator, printer, and copier. •Requires ability to communicate verbally with others. •Ability to handle multiple projects at once and maintain organization. Physical Requirements: •Requires maximum physical effort. •Must be able to stand, bend, stoop, squat, kneel, twist, lift, push and walk. •Must be able to drive a forklift. •Maximum unassisted lift = 50 lbs. •Ability to use telephone to communicate with customers and internal support personnel. •Gloves are recommended. Environmental Requirements: KEY OUTCOMES (KPI'S) 1) OUTCOME:Ensure Results that Meet or Exceed Provisions WarehouseMetrics •Pack product correctly and efficiently •Utilize warehouse management systems to track inventory levels to meet or exceed inventory accuracy assigned metrics •Assist warehouse and provisions with pulling and staging orders 2) OUTCOME:Inventory Metrics are Met or Exceeded •Ensure that inventory counts and reports are accurate with inventory records and physical stock •Timely process of making product and fulfilling orders 3) OUTCOME:Ensure Quality Metrics for all Provisions Orders are Met or Exceeded •Review daily packaging and inventory for accuracy •Validate product quantity accuracy for all Provisions shipments 4) OUTCOME:Ensure all Company Safety Policies and Procedures within the Provisions Warehouse are Followed at All Times •Keep Provision warehouse space clean, safe, and looking great (daily housekeeping to prevent warehouse safety hazards) •Promptly report any unsafe Provisions warehouse conditions to a Safety operational lead •Report any observed or reported Provisions warehouse injuries or potential injuries to the People Operations Team 5) OUTCOME:Perform Consistent with Wildman Core Values •Conduct yourself at all times and in all business interactions consistently with Wildman Core Values. STRENGTHS TO BE SUCCESSFUL (suggestions) •High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or training in logistics or warehouse operations preferred •Ability to work efficiently in warehouse or distribution center with hands on experience in packaging and/or order fulfillment •Ability to use warehouse management software and handheld devices •Excellent organizational skills, ability to prioritize tasks •Strong written and verbal communication skills required •Effective and Respectful Communication •Problem solving skills •Adapts well to changing needs, conditions, and work responsibilities PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES Timely and accurately packaging of products from bulk quantities Accurately labeling of packaged products for tracking purposes Manage inventory and audit as needed. Utilize inventory management system to track inventory levels and locations Manage the quality standards of product Performs other related duties as assigned. •Outside air temperatures during all seasons. •Including extreme heat/humidity during summer and cold during winter season. •At times, extreme odors or unclean product. PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS Prolonged periods of standing and walking throughout the day with occasional sitting at a desk and working on a computer. Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. periodically. Seasonal heat and cold conditions may occur in the warehouse environment and work clothing appropriate for seasonal conditions should be worn as needed (any required personal protective equipment or work equipment needed for the role will be supplied by the Company).
