This role requires you to be within commutable distance of York, PA as needed. Some of what you will do: Maintain customer projects including monthly invoicing, and any additional services related to the overall project accounting function. Effectively communicate with project managers regarding project set-up, and project budgeting and analysis, provide ongoing assistance and answer questions and requests for information as needed. Conduct monthly closing, including preparation of journal entries and account reconciliations, ensuring accuracy and completeness and adherence to GAAP and internal accounting policies and procedures. Assist Controller with preparation of financial and management reports and ad hoc analyses. Serve as backup for processing of payroll and accounting for payroll and subcontractors as needed. Support outside auditors on annual review and tax return, and retirement plan audit.
