Job Description: As a Manufacturing Assembly B (Intermediate Level) you will be responsible for contributing to the success of our Sensors Division performing production tasks for a wide variety of Dewar assemblies which may include skilled hand work and or utilizing automated production equipment. Work is performed in a clean lab that sometimes requires optical magnification. This is a first shift position with flexible start time. Essential Functions: Complete assigned manufacturing process steps for DEWAR assemblies and sub-assemblies for customer deliverables Determines and/or follows methods and sequence of operations in performing component preparation/installation, hand soldering as needed on assembly units Comprehends and interprets a variety of technical specifications, terms, and documents Understand and follow appropriate test equipment / safety procedures Support group objectives for on-time delivery Follow industry standard or practice for 6S Work independently and with a team Provide regular status reports on work in progress Qualifications: Requires developing job knowledge/skills. Requires a High School Diploma or equivalent and a minimum of 4 years of prior relevant experience or 2 years post-Secondary/Associates Degree with 0 to 2 years of prior related experience. 2 years or more experience using email and Microsoft office. 2 years or more experience with hand tools. 2 years or more experience with reading and following drawings and work instructions. 2 years or more experience in working individually and in a diverse and team-oriented environment. Must be a United States Citizen. Preferred Additional Skills: Strong interpersonal relationship skills Solder certification Eager to learn new processes Experience in an ESD/FOD and or clean room areas Physical Requirements: Prolonged sitting at a workstation and working on a computer Must be able to lift to a minimum of 25 pounds at times
