Job Description The Senior Client Portfolio Manager is primarily responsible for institutional multi-asset class client portfolio construction and performance, regular client servicing and communication, and supporting business development efforts with the Bank's largest and most sophisticated OCIO clients and prospects with a focus on corporate clients. Review of portfolio structure, strategy and performance with staff, boards and committees in the context of developments in markets and the global economy represents a critical, core function of the role. Additionally, participation in the firm's investment strategy process and contributions to periodic client thought pieces fall in scope for the role. Finally, deep subject matter expertise and experience working with corporate pension and other employee retirement plans, captive insurance plans and other corporate pools is essential. Travel should be expected and will be based primarily upon client and business development needs and opportunities. Responsibilities Portfolio construction and ongoing monitoring of multi-asset class portfolio strategies for OCIO clients that is consistent with USBAM's best investment ideas and practices, and/or consistent with custom client investment policy statement Communication and in-person meetings with OCIO clients on portfolio performance and strategy, and market/economic developments and outlook Effective communication and representation of USBAM's market views and outlook to OCIO clients, prospects and key internal partners Support OCIO clients with investment policy and strategy development Support and contribute to sales efforts and business development strategy to grow USBAM's OCIO investment business Strong collaboration and relationship building with critical internal bank partners Qualifications Minimum 10-15 years working with multi asset class investments for institutional clients Minimum 10-15 years of experience working with institutional investment clients with emphasis on corporate clients; corporate pension/LDI knowledge and experience would be a plus Prior experience participating in institutional investment sales and business development efforts, with emphasis in the corporate segment Superior oral and written communication skills, and presentation skills Demonstrated past experience with initiating new ideas, promoting best practices, and leading improvement projects MBA and/or CFA strongly preferred The role offers a hybrid/flexible schedule, which means there's an in-office expectation of 3 or more days per week and the flexibility to work outside the office location for the other days. The salary range reflects figures based on the primary location, which is listed first. The actual range for the role may differ based on the location of the role.
