Overview and purpose of the role As the Aftersales Business Development Co-ordinator, the role will be responsible for analysis and driving sales growth for parts and accessories, as part of the RMA global vehicle modifications business. This position will be based in Southfield MI, and will report into the Group Parts Manager, based in Thailand. Key Responsibilities Market Analysis Conduct in-depth market research to identify emerging trends, customer needs, and competitive positioning in the parts and accessories segment. Business Strategy Develop and implement a comprehensive business development strategy that aligns with the company's overall goals and objectives. Sales and Revenue Generation Identify and cultivate relationships with key customers, distributors (Caribbean and South America Dealers), partners and freight forwarder to drive sales growth for parts and accessories. Meet or exceed sales targets and revenue goals. Key Account Management Provide pro-actively parts proposal including service guideline and stock recommendation. Leading in parts proposal preparation to offer along with Global Fleet Sales offer. Participate on parts tender and ensure that all requirements are met and submitted in due time. Product Portfolio Management Collaborate with the product development team within RMA Mods organization to optimize the parts and accessories portfolio, including new product introductions, pricing strategies, and inventory management. Market Expansion Identify and pursue new market opportunities, including geographic expansion and entry into new customer segments. Customer Engagement Point of contact for USA parts shipments management, invoices, and others documents. Build and maintain strong relationships with existing customers, ensuring their satisfaction and loyalty. Provide excellent customer support and address any concerns or issues promptly. Team Collaboration: Fostering a collaborative spirit within RMA Modifications departments and Global Fleet Sales partner (located in US) and results-oriented mindset. Reporting and Analysis Prepare regular reports on sales performance in CRM System, market trends, and competitive analysis to direct manager. Use data-driven insights to make informed decisions and adjustments to the business strategy. Budget Management Manage the budget for the parts division, ensuring efficient cost control. Adherence to Company Policies It is essential that the selected candidate adhere to our company's policies and procedures. This includes ethical conduct, confidentiality, and compliance with all applicable laws and regulations in your sales activities. Background and Experience Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field; MBA preferred. 2 years+ experience in the Automotive industry (in automotive parts and accessories considered a plus). Proven track record of success in parts sales or business development. Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret market data. Entrepreneurial Mindset to adapt to face pace environment. Excellent communication and negotiation skills. Project management experience with a demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional team. Strategic thinker with the ability to develop and execute business plans. Proficiency in CRM and sales management software. Willingness to travel as required (overseas). Proven ability to manage and lead cross-functional teams (including with teams based overseas).
