Job Description R&D, Product & Process Development Engineering Internship Overview Envision spending your summer working with energetic colleagues and inspirational leaders, all while gaining world-class experience in one of the most dynamic organizations in the pharmaceutical industry. This is a reality for AbbVies Experiential Interns. In Product & Process Development, the engineering intern will work closely with engineers on a variety of tasks supporting the ideation, design and development of medical devices in the field of Regenerative Medicine. Key Responsibilities Include: Work under direct supervision of an assignment manager on tasks that will support R&D projects in the regenerative medicine pipeline Support physical testing of prototypes and sample materials, data analysis, and documentation/presentation generation Support the fabrication and processing of prototypes in the R&D process lab under direct guidance from experienced team members Organize data in shared collaboration spaces Communicate with team members in brainstorming and problem solving Qualifications MinimumQualifications : Currently enrolled in university, pursuing aBachelors in Mechanical, Chemical, Biomedical, Bioengineering or other related field Must be enrolled in university for at least one semester following the internship Expected graduation datebetweenDecember 2025 June 2026 Preferred Qualifications : Exposure to undergraduate engineering courses Exposure to working in undergraduate engineering and science laboratory setting Exposure to Good Documentation Practices (GDP) Additional Information Benefits and Amenities Competitive pay Relocation support for eligible students Select wellness benefits and paid holiday / sick time Applicable only to applicants applying to a position in any location with pay disclosure requirements under state or local law: The compensation range described below is the range of possible base pay compensation that the Company believes ingood faith it will pay for this role at the time of this posting based on the job grade for this position.
