Summary The role is responsible for assisting to carry out internal audits towards process and operations, enhance risk management, and investigate ethics claims at an organization. The right person for this role has a strict ethical mindset, operates with the highest level of integrity and truthfulness in all dealings. This position also requires data analytic skills as well as excellent communication skills with subsidiary's stakeholders & HQ audit team. This position will be reporting directly to Sr. Director of the North American Internal Audit team. Responsibilities Act objectively and have Intermediate business knowledge to analyze data, bring insight to the team, and take the necessary steps to enhance risk management for assigned audit projects Have ownership to perform and complete assigned parts of audit projects and work closely with team members in order to make proposals, solutions, and decision options based on analysis that can lead the team lead to make sound decisions Add value to the organization in process out of given guideline and ethical culture Drive impact both internally and externally by maintaining professional level oversight of audit projects and contributing to share audit insights with stakeholders As NA Internal Audit provides shared service in NA region, expected to provide the same service to other subsidiaries within the region including US, Canada, and Mexico Identify operational issues or risks to contribute to continuous improvement, transformation, and integration of operational process by avoiding fraud and reducing risks Have a certain latitude for the practice of independent judgement, activities, and compliance within the organizational standard to suggest innovative ideas or improvements and integrate with the new organizational environment Have in-depth knowledge and understanding of the company policy and Jeong-Do management the company pursues as a priority Knowledge of the business process, compliance, relevant accounting and investigation Build trust-based relationships with stakeholders and a high performance by cultivating individual strengths (e.g. fast learner, tech savvy and strong verbal/written communication skill) in complex situations Develop and maintain own knowledge in specialized area Possess a high level of work ethic and integrity Qualifications Bachelors degree Bilingual in English and Korean Travel up to 15% Strong verbal and written communication skills High proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Powerpoint, Word) #LI-DR1 Privacy Notice to California Applicants At LG, we aspire to empower people and celebrate differences because we believe diversity will create the unexpected.
