Lifeworks is a nonprofit organization dedicated to ensuring that individuals with autism lead healthy and enriched lives by providing essential clinical services across the lifespan. Founded in 2013, Lifeworks provides residential, vocational, and educational opportunities for adults throughout Northeast Ohio with a diagnosis of autism. Among its array of services, the agency offers behavioral health and Applied Behavior Analytic services for individuals of all ages who are on the spectrum. Position Description: The Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) is part of an innovative team of professionals who are expected to provide the highest caliber of treatment and intervention for Individuals with Autism Spectrum Disorder. The BCBA is be responsible for developing and maintaining service plans, behavior intervention plans, and program materials for each individual on their caseload. The BCBA delivers direct instruction to the individual, provides direct supervision to Day Program Staff and oversees the implementation of plans and programming. The BCBA works collaboratively with all Agency staff, family members, caregivers, and other professionals. The BCBA needs to have reliable transportation and the ability to work in a variety of locations (Day Programs, homes, community, etc.). Responsibilities Include: Conduct descriptive and systemic behavior analytic assessments to include, but not limited to, preference assessment, skills assessment, functional behavior assessments and provide interpretation of results. Develop and maintenance of comprehensive service plans and behavior plans based off of assessments. Create supplemental materials needed for service implementation. Ongoing monitoring and analysis of data as well as timely completion of reports, progress notes, and other documentation required for services. Design, implement, and train staff on applied behavior analysis programs, conduct functional behavior assessments and develop behavior intervention plans. Provide supervision, training, and feedback to Day Program Staff in the delivery of behavior analytic interventions for skill development and behavior replacement as well as general job responsibilities. Provide additional staff training and modeling through direct instruction and push-in sessions on the floor. Collaboration with the Clinical Coordinator of Day Services and sister programs on shared cases, training, and system modification and improvement. Prepare for and lead meetings with staff, parents, and other stakeholders to review client's progress. Qualifications: Minimum Master's degree in Applied Behavior Analysis, Education, Psychology, Counseling, or related discipline Board Certified Behavior Analyst certification required. Certified Ohio Behavior Analyst (COBA) required. Will consider candidates in need of supervised fieldwork experience. Training and clinical experience in providing applied behavior analysis to individuals with autism spectrum disorder and their families is preferred Why Work for Us?
