2nd Shift - Facilities Housekeeper

***15% Shift Differential for 2nd Shift! Job Summary This position is responsible for ensuring that the building is maintained as a welcoming and professional environment. This position will maintain the very highest standard of facilities cleanliness and condition by performing the following duties: Role and Responsibilities Clean rooms, hallways and corridors, conference rooms, lobbies, restrooms, stairways, locker rooms, and other work areas so that health standards are met. Empty wastebaskets and transport other trash and waste to disposal areas. Replenish supplies, such as cafeteria and bathroom items. Wipe down and clean all cafeteria tables, chairs, kitchen surfaces and equipment. Keep storage areas clean and tidy. Dust and polish furniture, display cases and equipment. Clean and polish metalwork. Sweep, scrub, wax, and/or polish floors, using brooms, mops or powered scrubbing and waxing machines. Vacuum rugs, carpets, and upholstered furniture. Wash windows, door panels and sills, walls, ceilings and woodwork. Additional duties maybe assigned. Qualifications 1-year minimum experience as an industrial custodian / housekeeper is preferred. Experience in a manufacturing facility or in the hospitality industry preferred. Required to frequently lift and/or move (push) 25 lbs. and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50lbs. Effectively respond to verbal and written instructions. Problem solving skills. Effective interpersonal and communication skills. Possess a proactive attitude. Must be able to work both as an individual contributor as well as be part of a team player. Exceptional attention to detail. Education Requirements High school diploma or equivalent Physical Requirements: Frequent performing repetitive work. Occasional lifting (max. 40 lbs.) Occasional carrying (max. 40 lbs.)
