Job Responsibilities Provide comprehensive medical care to patients under the supervision of a licensed physician. Conduct patient histories and physical examinations. Minimum Education Requirements Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies (MPAS) degree from an accredited program. License & Certifications Active and unencumbered PA license in California . National certification from the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA). Experience While requirements may vary, most locum PA positions prefer candidates with at least one year of clinical experience in their area of specialty.
