SUMMARY : Responsible for completing electrical tasks and other duties as directed. SAFETY : Ensures team compliance with all company & OSHA regulated safety requirements/standards. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES : include the following. Other duties may be assigned. Determines material needs and relays orders to supervisor accordingly Lend technical assistance Basic knowledge of blueprints and wiring diagrams Perform all electrical functions as directed. Set up, operate, and assist in trouble shooting electrical equipment Perform hook ups and installation under direction. Assist Craft Manager in scheduling, planning and evaluating workloads if needed Comply with and ensure the Companys Non-Discrimination and Anti-Harassment Policy. SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES : N/A QUALIFICATIONS : To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE : Minimum 3 years electrical experience High School Diploma or GED COMMUNICATION/LANGUAGE SKILLS : Communication: Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and general public. Language: Ability to read, analyze, and interpret business periodicals, production schedules, manning requirements, technical procedures, government regulations, common manuals and journals. Be able to write routine reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. MATHEMATICAL SKILLS : Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area circumference, and volume. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry. REASONING ABILITY : Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form. Must be able to tour all vessels, piers, docks, and work sites. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; talk or hear; climb or balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus. May be required to operate a high reach after proper training is provided by PSR.
