Position Overview: Do you have exceptional customer service skills and strong leadership abilities? We're seeking an energetic and dedicated Assistant Sales Manager to support our Sales Team. In this role, you will help manage our sales department, while ensuring a memorable experience for every customer who walks through our door. What You Will Do Elevate Customer Experiences: Create a welcoming and enjoyable shopping experience for all of our customers, and handle guest interactions with kindness and efficiency. Master Our Products: Get to know our bakery products' ingredients, prices, and packaging to assist our customers. Manage Sales Operations: Use our POS system to accurately process cash and credit card transactions with integrity and attention to detail. Optimize Our Bakery: Assist with the storage, packaging, and merchandising of our baked goods and help implement product specials and promotions. Lead and Inspire: Assists in scheduling, training, supervising, and motivating our Sales Team to deliver exceptional customer service. Drive Success: Generate daily reports, determine store needs, and work with management to evaluate our holiday menus and shopping guides to boost sales. Ensure Quality: Coordinate with Bethel Park store regarding product/order deliveries, and collaborate with all departments for smooth operations. What We Are Looking For Customer-Focused: A passion for delivering excellent service and attention to detail. Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to handle high-pressure situations and troubleshoot issues effectively. Tech Savvy: Proficiency in Microsoft Suite and POS systems. Strong Communication: Excellent verbal and written skills to interact effectively with staff, management, and customers. Leadership Experience: Previous customer service, retail, and management experience is a must. Requirements Education: A degree in Business Administration or a related field is preferred, but a High School Diploma or GED is acceptable. Experience: Previous customer service and retail experience, with a background in management/leadership. Endurance: Ability to stand, sit, or be in motion throughout your shift and lift and carry trays weighing up to 50 pounds. Schedule Full-Time: 40 hours/week; 5 days/week (Monday-Saturday, with one weekday off) Shifts: Varying 8-hour shifts, both opening and closing shifts (subject to change based on needs) Compensation Hourly Rate: $17-$19/hour, based on experience.
