Unistrut Assembler ACS Utility

Description Who we are looking for: We are searching for an Assembler/ ACS Utility based out of New Bedford, MA Duchaine Facility. Reporting to Value Stream Leader, the assembler will be responsible for performing any assembly-type functions, using hand or power tools. What you'll do: Assembler/ACS responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Read and comprehend production Standard Work and Job Function Analysis (JFA) Ensure production materials are available Operate and observe machinery during production. Identify acceptable or unacceptable product quality to customer requirements and quality standards Collaborate with co-workers, supervisors, and managers to achieve productivity and site goals Adhere to all safety procedures and report potentially unsafe conditions immediately Perform any assembly-type functions, using hand or power tools Operate chop saw cutting flexible metal conduit to specified lengths Pull multiple lengths of electrical copper wire through conduit Cut & strip wire using manual hand tools Crimp electrical contact onto wire ends using hand tool or automated crimp machine Perform close-in assembly work in manufacture of connector assemblies Operate any equipment needed to perform job Report any quality control issues to supervisor Work as individual or team environment Perform related duties as needed by supervision What you'll bring: High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent 1 years Assembly, Machine Operator and/or manufacturing experience Ability to understand and follow instructions Ability to read and understand basic electrical schematic diagrams Pay attention to detail Maintain a clean & safe environment Able to lift 50 pounds unassisted Regularly required to stand for long periods of time Regularly lift and/or move up to 20 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 30 pounds, and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds Frequently required to handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls Frequently required to walk, reach with hands and arms, stoop, kneel, crouch, and talk or hear Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus Within 3 months, you'll: Complete any required training Have developed relationships with the key stakeholders for this role.
