Seeking an additional Board Certified/Board Eligible OB/GYN Laborist for our practice at Desert Regional Medical Center in Palm Springs, CA. Enjoy l iving where most people like to vacation! Job Description: Responsibilities include delivery attendance, OB triage, patient evaluation/management, surgical assists, fetal monitoring and ER coverage MFM performs rounds and inpatient consults with high risk patients Practice attends about 60 deliveries per month 30-bed community Level-III NICU/newborns 23 weeks and above Affiliated maternal-fetal medicine and neonatology practice support 387-bed tertiary acute care facility and is the only Level I Trauma Center in Coachella Valley, serving more than 8,000 square miles of Southeastern California Teaching opportunities with fellows, residents and medical students Compensation and Benefits: Base compensation is BR4,000 - BR,500 (based on experience) with bonus potential (to be prorated @ BR/hour for less than full-time). - A full-time position is 7.5 24-hour in-house shifts/month = 2190 hours annually. - Will consider someone who wants to work a minimum of 6 24-hourshifts/month (still benefit eligible).
