Strategic Communications Specialist

Insight Global is looking for a Strategic Communications Specialist to support us on a DOD program. This individual will support a cutting-edge research and engineering organization, to include senior level (SES) customers. They will be responsible for reviewing and recommending solutions to public affairs related challenges and managing correspondence. They will also serve as the social media manager for the organization, as well as helping to manage and track public speaking engagements, interview preparations, and news articles. Required Skills & Experience - Top Secret clearance - Bachelors Degree and 10+ years experience, or Masters Degree and 8+ YOE - Experience writing, editing and proofreading professional correspondence and communications in support of a federal customer - Working knowledge of AP style guides - Experience managing government customer social media pages (linkedin, twitter, etc.) - Experience creating and posting content to social media and web pages - Experience using multiple channels for communications purposes Benefit packages for this role will start on the 31st day of employment and include medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as HSA, FSA, and DCFSA account options, and 401k retirement account access with employer matching.
