We are hiring for experienced 3rd-Shift CNC Machine Operators to join our talented team, in Lancaster, PA. CNC Machine Operators are responsible for setting up and operating various machines to support our fabrication process. In addition to machine centers, co-workers may periodically be assigned to fabrication tasks. Mazak & Fryer machining centers, MG oxy & MG Titan burning machines, CNC punch, Rojar milling machine, Brake press, and Gemini burning/drilling machining center are among the various machine centers we operate. 3rd shift coworkers will work Sunday - Thursday, 10:30 PM -7:00AM. (Your shift technically ends on Fridays at 7:00 AM.) We offer a generous shift differential of 25% of base salary. Our next team member will possess the following: Previous machining experience that includes operating a lathe, mill, or CNC machining center required. Demonstrated experience in setting offsets and tooling for first piece inspection. Familiarity with XYZ axis on machining centers The ability to machine compound tapers and end mills desired Experience operating material handling equipment (jib and overhead cranes) with proper use of lifting techniques Accurate layout and measuring experience preferred Flexibility required to work overtime and weekends, as needed Areas of responsibility for our CNC Machinists: Ability to load and unload machine with first piece checks and required documentation Perform various burning, punching, drilling, grinding and brake operator assistance, material handling or other miscellaneous or helper operations. Operate portable powered type grinders to rough grind burrs, scale, rough edges or welds on a variety of types and sizes of structural steel parts. Use hand lift truck, overhead pendant controlled crane or hoist to lift, move or position product in work or storage area.
