To strengthen our team in Home Office, we are looking for you as a(n) Sales Manager I/II 1. Wacker is growing and we have a sales position open for the Northeast / Mid-Atlantic geographic territory. We are looking for a dynamic sales professional based in the region to identify and develop new business opportunities in SEI Core markets including Medical, Mold Making, Industrial and Electronics. The successful seller will have a hunter sales mentality and consultative selling skills to bring Wacker silicone technology solutions to OEM's and end users. Must be able to build strong working relationships with current and prospective customers to become their preferred silicone supplier. Key to success will be mining new projects, building an opportunity portfolio to drive and sustain revenue growth. Work closely with the marketing managers to implement Business Team strategies and with the Technical Managers to provide technical support and system solutions to turn opportunities into revenue growth. Key responsibilities include developing a territory sales growth strategy, prospecting - targeting and prioritizing new opportunities, relationship management, opportunity management, forecasting, strong communication skills, consultative and value-add selling, negotiating, gathering and reporting market information, computer literacy and software skills. Maintain and update monthly CRM data for all customers, prospects and projects. Essential Functions of this Position: Achieve Sales and Profitability goals within the assigned customer list and /or geographic area. visit select customers to follow through on sales opportunities. Responsible for sales to assigned accounts Execute the sales process of Relating, Discovering, Validating, Advocating, and Supporting. Forecasting requirements of the customer base according to the S&OP Process. Continuing dialogue with customers to identify and report changes in demand. Proactively seek, collect, and report on trends in the marketplace from a commercial and technical view, using the designated CRM platform Develop and implement a territory plan which includes managing your business, managing your relationships, and manage your time Position Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Business or Marketing with a Master's preferred Master's degree preferred 5+ years of experience in the specialty chemicals industry; 5+ years of experience in a B2B team environment Ability to travel 50 - 60% to accounts and prospects. Selling experience into the Industrial, Mold Making, Transportation, Medical and Electronics markets Selling specialty chemicals or materials as process aids in a B to B environment Value add, consultative solutions provider Well versed in technical sales with a high mechanical aptitude Excellent interpersonal and communication skills Keen ability to build strong working relationships with customers and Wacker colleagues Well organized, detail oriented, strong work ethic, a passion for executing responsibilities Self-motivated, driven to succeed, persistent, team player with a positive winning attitude What do we offer?
