Location: Warren, OH Required Travel: 50% We are looking to hire an Account Manager - Special Products at our Warren, OH facility. The position will primarily market advanced maintenance programs and equipment by interacting with new and existing customers. He/she will ensure market penetration to achieve the overall company goals and will report to the Sales Manager. Responsibilities: Business development for long term maintenance and support program for the first ever US Endless Strip Production (ESP) product exclusively sold by Primetals Technologies. Develop and maintain a close contact with potential customers and equipment/technology partners. Develops and recommends marketing objectives. Maintains contacts with international Primetals divisions in Europe, Asia and South America. Technical support and service strategy development for Flat Rolling equipment Participates in pre-bid meetings. Develops strategies for projects and/or potential clients. Prepares and coordinates proposal activities incorporating all sub-suppliers and consortium partners. Responsible for the coordination and finalization of the proposal documents, and cost budgets delivered to the client. Responsible for proposal presentations to the client or participation as a team member Responsible for the coordination of documents, cost budgets, and price budgets for any addenda and/or changes required for the proposals. Arrange and coordinate visits for potential customers to Primetals facilities and tours of plants. Participate and may lead contract negotiations. Maintain client contact outside of contract to insure good relations and future business. Attend appropriate shows, conventions and symposiums. Education/Experience/Skills/Knowledge: Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering Five years of experience in sales/service in metals business Five years working in steel mill environment. Ability to travel to customers 4 days per week. Experience in a Hot Strip Mill, Cold Strip Mill, ESP, CSP and maintenance area. Strong technical/engineering skills Multilingual preferred, Spanish is a plus. Familiarity with commercial terms and conditions, and other finance knowledge SAP experience, a plus Primetals Technologies offers a full range of benefits starting with first day of employment.
