Who we are - Sushi by Bou is changing the sushi scene across America. With an ever-growing list of locations, Sushi by Bou brings a high end Omakase experience to the people in an intimate and speakeasy environment. Our timed Omakase (30 minute and 60-minute options) is served at either a 4 seat or 8 seat counter and features the freshest of fish, both locally sourced, as well as brought in from all over the world. We are hiring a Regional General Manager to manage a group of micro food and beverage concepts in Washington DC and Philadelphia. Salary: $85,000- $100,000 (depending on experience) Travel required: 15% Benefits: •Medical, Dental, Vision and life insurance •14 days PTO •Sick pay •8 paid holidays Job responsibilities include but not limited to: Communicate directly with each respective hotel GM regarding day-to-day operations, troubleshooting venue issues and hotel policies. Oversee the day-to-day operations of the venues in their entirety, acting as the main point of contact for staffing, and all other restaurant related activities Overseeing Food and beverage ordering, inventory, and cost analysis Ensuring all food, liquor and labor costs are kept low Overseeing captains at each location to ensure efficient daily operations Working with host venues to maintain open communication and coordination with their staff Weekly Payroll Mentoring and training staff Oversee staff training programs for all positions P&L responsibility for each micro venue Creating inventory protocols and storage solutions Provide support and coverage as needed at the venue level Qualifications or Requirements 2-3 years of food and beverage management experience Experience with Japanese food and beverage preferred Strong leadership and communication skills Expected to work 50 - 60 hours a week Please visit our careers page to see more job opportunities.
