The Role Drivepoint is seeking a highly motivated Finance Analyst to join our growing team. You will be working with a variety of scaling consumer brand clients, utilizing our software to provide strategic finance support. This highly-visible role offers opportunity to work with Founders, C-level executives, and other senior members from early stage and high-growth DTC companies. The successful candidate will have solid financial statement knowledge, financial modeling & analysis experience. Responsibilities: Work with clients to stand up and/or modify financial models using the Drivepoint software. Assist clients in creating budgets, forecasts, and scenario-planning to achieve their business goals (for example, analyze financial statement impact of increased advertising spend in certain months, reduce inventory to increase cash runway, etc.) Suggest and/or make improvements to the financial models, software, or data to ensure accuracy, drive automation, and encourage client adoption of Drivepoint offerings. Collaborate with other Drivepoint team members on various analyses and to improve our offerings & services to clients. Requirements: Solid accounting and financial statement knowledge, including income statement, balance sheet, and cash flow statement. Financial modeling and analysis experience, including building models from scratch. Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with clients and team members in a remote environment. Ability to explain financial analysis, including metrics and concepts, to clients in an easy-to-understand way. Strong interest or experience in direct-to-consumer or consumer goods, with an innate curiosity about consumer businesses. Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, economics, or related field. 3+ years of relevant experience in investment banking, strategic finance, FP&A or a related field.
