Data Scientist, Cubist

Assist with data questions and requests from investment teams. Set up feed downloads and monitor check-in database. Monitor the automated data collection and cleansing infrastructure. Perform historical testing and data exploration. Create and document datasets for internal use. Must possess at least a master's degree or its equivalent in Financial Engineering, Computational Finance, Mathematics, Statistics or a related field and at least 2 years of experience as a Data Analyst or in a related role. Must also possess the following: at least 2 years of experience with programming in Python; at least 2 years of experience with writing and optimizing queries using SQL and/or other similar relational databases; at least 2 years of experience with data cleansing, analyzing and validation using Python libraries such as pandas, polars, etc.; at least 2 years of experience with designing and developing data pipelines for financial data; at least 2 years of experience with conducting independent research utilizing large data sets; at least 2 years of experience with providing support to Portfolio Manager and Analysts; and demonstrable experience with financial data sets and multifactor risk models. Minimum Salary: 180,000 Maximum Salary: 300,000 Salary Unit: Yearly
