Finance Manager

Job Overview: The Finance Manager will be responsible for overseeing all finance, accounting, and reporting activities, ensuring efficient financial management to support the organization's strategic objectives. Working closely with the CEO, the Finance Manager will manage key financial processes, including bookkeeping, reporting, and budgeting. The organization, funded through property assessments and other sources, requires a strong financial leader to manage its resources effectively. Key Responsibilities: Manage financial reporting, accounting processes, planning, and analysis. Handle bookkeeping tasks and ensure accurate customer invoicing. Oversee financial tasks such as supplier payments and cash flow management. Develop and monitor budgets, providing financial updates for meetings as needed. Collaborate with external consultants to ensure financial reports are accurate and timely. Assist with the preparation of financial statements, monthly and quarterly reconciliations, and support the annual audit process. Coordinate the creation and monitoring of annual budgets and management accounts. Conduct scenario analysis and review financial models, including assessment rates. Review and improve internal controls to ensure strong financial systems are in place. Monitor and report on expenditure against forecasted budgets. Advise the CEO on financial strategies, including alternative models for income generation and collection. Provide financial insight to support risk management and make recommendations based on financial analysis. Analyze and advise on future opportunities and potential risks. Support business planning by providing financial analysis and recommendations. Draft contracts, financial policies, and agreements as needed. Undertake additional tasks as directed by the CEO. Qualifications: Strong background in financial management, including reporting, bookkeeping, and budget oversight. Ability to collaborate closely with senior leadership and external consultants. Experience in managing financial processes, ensuring internal controls, and preparing reports for audits. Excellent analytical skills with the ability to provide strategic financial insights. Proven ability to manage multiple financial tasks and projects simultaneously. Salary Range: $70k - $80k
