Maintenance Mechanic, 4 day work week!

Master of Machines: Industrial Maintenance Mechanic Maintenance Mechanic Schedule: (4) 10'S Monday thru Thursday (Friday being OT) 5:30am-4:30pm Pay Rate: Up to $30/hour Essential Functions: Maintenance Mechanic Performs preventive maintenance inspections and service on machines. Inspect, troubleshoot, repair, and/or replace mechanical components such as motors, gear boxes, drive chains, sprockets, sheaves, pulleys, rollers, conveyor belts, bearings, and screws. Repair/troubleshoot hydraulic cylinders, flow problems, solenoids, and pumps. Partners up with Engineering and other technicians to order and install replacement parts for machines. Work with Operations to identify the causes of unexpected breakdowns of machines and to maintain equipment running efficiently. Make minor wiring repairs and troubleshoot basic electrical issues Repair, install and dismantle machinery and equipment according to plans which involves working at heights, climbing ladders, and using mobile equipment (cranes, forklift, scissor lift, etc.). Read blueprints & wiring diagrams for the installation & repair of equipment and the facility. Maintain a safe work area. Performs other related duties as assigned. Education/Experience: Some vocational or community college with related coursework, preferred. 3 + years' experience working in Electromechanics, Industrial Maintenance or relevant field. Previous experience using bearing, heaters, interference fits, and/or removing gear boxes or seized bearings/shafts. Skills: Mechanically inclined with great problem-solving skills. Ability to properly operate band saws, torch, drill presses, grinders and other shop tools Ability to work in a fast-paced and stressful environment. Basic mathematical skills used to add, subtract, multiply, divide, and use decimals and fractions Proficient with use of power tools, measuring devices, lathe and/or milling machinery. Basic to Intermediate Electrical skills are a plus. Welding/fabrication skills are a plus. Basic knowledge of PLC and HMI functions is a plus.
