The ideal candidate is collaborative, detail-oriented, and in search of an environment where they can stretch their creative writing muscles across a wide-range of deliverables. As a member of our marketing team, this individual will be involved in public relations, pursuits, event planning, photography and social media management, email marketing, website management, data analysis and more. Responsibilities Collaborate with marketing team and firm leadership to manage ongoing strategic marketing communication initiatives, including campaigns, website and social media management, collateral development, advertising, public relations, internal communications, etc. Develop and edit original copy in support of proposals, awards, social media, public relations and other promotional efforts Lead public relations activities, including the creation of press releases and announcements, coordination of our internal and external newsletters, and coordination project awards and other special PR-related projects. Collaborate with the Pursuit Specialist to develop and execute pursuit strategies, including providing narratives, research and industry business intelligence. Support the population and maintenance of accurate resumes, project summaries, project data and boilerplate narratives in the marketing library, database and website Support opportunity tracking and client management in Deltek Vision Participate in event planning and implementation, including Hickok Cole's annual Art Night event Support and coordinate employee participation in industry events, including conference and program registrations, speaking opportunities, and exhibit management Assist with coordination of project photoshoots and overall photo and video asset management Conduct client and competitor research, as needed Establish and maintain working relationships with internal departments and external vendors, when necessary, to ensure continual communication and excellent customer service Assist with development and enforcement of Hickok Cole brand guidelines Other responsibilities as needed Qualifications/Competencies Excellent writing, grammar, and proofreading skills Strong verbal communication skills Experience in Adobe Design Suite, specifically InDesign Expert with Microsoft Office suite, including Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint Excellent organizational and prioritization skills Strong ability to prioritize workload and deliver on multiple projects simultaneously Ability to work independently Demonstrate attention to detail Understand marketing fundamentals Ability to thrive in a challenging, fast-paced, environment and remain poised and professional under pressure Team oriented with the ability to positively interact with internal and external team members - reliable, honest, outgoing, friendly, approachable Open to direction and feedback, listens and seeks clarification Education/Experience Bachelor's Degree in English, Journalism, Communications, Public Relations, Advertising, Marketing or related field 4+ years' experience in marketing or communications-related field (A/E/C experience preferred) Experience with Deltek Vision a plus Benefits: We offer competitive salaries and a full range of benefits in a rewarding, career-oriented environment, including: Hybrid Work - Remote up to 2 days a week Flexible Hours Paid Leave + Holidays 401(k) Employee Savings Plan Health + Dental Plan Group Life Insurance Mentorship Program Company Laptops + Sit-Stand Desks Team and firm-wide Happy Hours iLAB Research Microgrant Program Paid maternity/ paternity leave, plus DCPFL time.
