Position Summary We are seeking a forward-thinking, solutions-driven Compensation and Benefits Manager to join our dynamic team at Cafua Management Company. This role is pivotal in shaping our employee value proposition, focusing on designing and managing a competitive, compliant, and innovative benefits program, while ensuring our compensation practices attract, retain, and engage top talent. Key Responsibilities: Benefits Administration (75%) Lead the design, implementation, and continuous improvement of comprehensive employee benefits programs, including health insurance, retirement plans, and various leave programs. Proactively assess and benchmark our benefits packages against industry and regional standards to ensure they meet the evolving needs of our workforce. Oversee the RFP process for benefits, collaborating closely with internal stakeholders to ensure optimal outcomes from external vendors. Build and manage strong relationships with benefits providers, brokers, and third-party vendors, ensuring clear communication and streamlined processes. Act as a trusted advisor to employees, providing timely and accurate resolution of benefits-related inquiries. Stay ahead of industry trends, regulatory changes, and market developments to keep our benefits offerings competitive, compliant, and innovative. Optimize benefits programs to align with the company's strategic goals, ensuring they remain cost-effective, sustainable, and reflective of company culture. Compensation Management (25%) Collaborate with departmental leaders to design and maintain salary structures and compensation packages that support talent retention and motivation. Conduct ongoing market analysis to ensure competitive and fair compensation practices aligned with industry trends. Ensure strict compliance with all federal, state, and local compensation laws and regulations. Develop and communicate a clear, consistent compensation philosophy that aligns with the company's objectives and values. Change Management & HR Transformation Lead strategic initiatives related to compensation and benefits transformation, driving change and ensuring high employee engagement and adoption. Serve as a change agent by identifying opportunities to enhance the efficiency, effectiveness, and impact of HR-related programs across the organization. Foster a culture of continuous improvement, collaborating across departments to implement and manage HR transformation efforts that align with business priorities. Strategic Planning & Reporting Regularly assess the company's compensation and benefits needs, market trends, and employee feedback to recommend forward-thinking strategies that meet organizational goals. Develop and manage the annual benefits budget, while providing insights and reports on compensation and benefits trends to senior leadership. A proven leader with a strong grasp of HR transformation and the ability to lead change initiatives with tact and vision. Requirements Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field. Master's degree or HR-related certifications (e.g., CCP, CBP) are highly desirable. Minimum of 5 years of experience in benefits administration, with additional experience in compensation management. 1+ years of management experience leading teams or initiatives, with a focus on HR transformation and change management. Proven track record in managing RFP processes and vendor relationships. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with proficiency in HRIS and Microsoft Office Suite. In-depth knowledge of relevant federal, state, and local laws and regulations. Excellent communication and presentation skills, with a strong ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
