Up to $12,000 sign on bonus for fulltime SDC role! Staff Development Coordinator (SDC) available at Blueberry Hill Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center in Beverly, MA! Fulltime Monday through Friday position with weekend on-call rotation Responsibilities Conducts needed analysis studies to determine training needs within the facility. Formulates teaching outlines and determines instructional methods, such as individual training, group instruction, lectures, demonstrations, conferences, meetings, and workshops. Conducts and coordinates training sessions covering specified areas such as new employee orientation, on the job training, use of computers and software, external programs, customer service, health and safety practices, refresher training, promotional development, upgrading and retraining displaced workers, and leadership development. Completes and updates competencies on all nursing staff during orientation and through employment, according to their scope of practice. Secures, develops, and maintains records, reports, instructional manuals, reference materials, etc., pertinent to in-service educational programs. Maintains Relias database and monitors employee required mandatory training. Tracks all nursing licenses, CPR, TB, Fit to work documentation, and staff mandated training. Interfaces with all managers to plan departmental education. Performs other related duties as required. Requirements: Must possess current unencumbered RN Massachusetts License Nursing degree from an accredited college or university preferred Minimum three (3) years of clinical nursing experience within a hospital, nursing care center or other related healthcare setting Must have experience in supervision and principles, practice of teaching, etc. Experience in rehabilitative and restorative nursing practices strongly preferred Must demonstrate the knowledge and skills necessary to provide care appropriate to the age-related needs of the residents served Must be a supportive team member, contribute to and be an example of team work and team concept Strong communication skills with the ability to deal tactfully with personnel, residents, family members, visitors, government agencies/personnel, and the general public Must be knowledgeable of nursing and medical practices and procedures, as well as laws, regulations, and guidelines that pertain to nursing facilities Primary series of the COVID Vaccine (or new bivalent COVID Vaccine or medical exemption) We offer many exciting benefits: Blue Cross Health Insurance for Individual Coverage as low as $5 biweekly!
