Clarion Partners is seeking a Senior Analyst to work with the Senior Vice President of Asset Management Operations on operations and systems for Asset Management group responsible for managing over $80+ billion of assets under management. Responsibilities: • Oversight of vendor management process and workflow. Effectively collaborate with applicable stakeholders throughout the procurement, onboarding and monitoring process. • Assist with evaluating vendor risk and due diligence and ensure identified risks are appropriately mitigated and documented. • Develop third party management procedures to support governance monitoring processes and assist in the review, update and enhancement of third-party risk management policies and procedures. • Oversee the Property Management Company Internal Audit program which includes Internal Controls Reviews, Cybersecurity Assessments and Operational Audits. • Compile budget timelines, templates and distribute to Asset Management. Track fiscal and calendar year budgets to ensure financial and leasing/occupancy information uploaded to MRI. • Manage the Property Management Company (PMC) onboarding process; coordinate surveys, initial onboarding calls with new PMCs and point person for PMC policies and procedures. • Coordinate the annual Kingsley Tenant Survey process working with the Clarion Asset Management Sector heads, Clarion Asset Management teams and Grace Hill/Kingsley. • Work with Clarion Partners' Portfolio Finance teams to resolve issues and build consensus to effectively implement consistent firm policies, procedures and reporting across all portfolios. • Responsible for MRI Chart of Accounts; addition of new accounts, deactivate/clean up accounts, updates to account range groups and financial formats as necessary and project to consolidate/reduce the Chart of Accounts. • Manage the renewal and bill back processes for software and services acquired on behalf of portfolios and properties. • Work with Asset Management Operations team on MRI upgrades as scheduled. Requirements: • 3 + Years of Real estate experience, in either Property Management or Accounting. • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting or related field. • Working knowledge of a comprehensive vendor risk management process. • Advanced Excel and data analytical skills. • MRI or other real estate or private equity accounting system experience. • Ability to adapt to a changing environment and multi-task assignments. • Detail oriented with the ability to work independently. • Exceptional interpersonal skills. • Must be able to meet deadlines. If based in New York, the base salary range for this position is USD $80,000 - $110,000. Actual base salary offered will be determined by several components including but not limited to the candidate's experience, job-related knowledge, and qualifications. Base salary does not include other forms of compensation or benefits offered in connection with the advertised role. Total compensation may vary based on role, location, and individual performance. For roles located outside of Los Angeles, please disregard the posted salary range as these roles will follow a separate compensation process based on the local market.
