Direct Report Summit Marketing Manager Employee Profile and Desired Traits •High level emotional intelligence •Active in team dynamics, conflict prevention/resolution, and identifying customer needs •Cheerful attitude and servant leadership disposition •Dedicated customer service and people oriented •Adaptability in a fast-paced environment with ability to learn and develop hard and soft skills •Ability to interact with men and women of all ages and maturity levels of staff/customers Duties & Responsibilities •Lead a seasonal team of staff in the capture/creation of high-quality digital images, videos and/or assets to be used for marketing and advertising for the Summit. •Contribute to marketing projects using written word, graphics/web, and/or visual stories. •Full-scope management of team digital assets, Organization management of all related files •Manage/curate assigned social media accounts/campaigns and drive production. •Ensure the proper management and maintenance of any issued equipment to the team. •Lead the Digital Media Team and work collaboratively with other departments as needed •Maintain a clean, organized, inspected, neat, and safe work area •Other duties or projects as assigned by SBR leadership •Abide by policies and procedure outlined in the SBR staff handbook Qualifications & Training •18 years of age or older •Training or significant experience in relevant field of study: Examples include but not limited to: Photography, Photojournalism, videography, graphic design, web design, marketing, or social media management. •Proficiency using relevant editing/production software (Adobe Creative Suite Preferred) •Staff will need to manage their time and workflow to complete assigned tasks/projects •Ability to use Microsoft Teams daily for work related communication and coordination •Be or become a registered member of Scouting America Performance Results •Meet/exceed expectations as agreed upon with supervisor/as listed on performance review. •Contribute positively to Summit marketing efforts through completion of assigned projects. •Positively represent and promote the Summit to existing and potential customers and guests. •Create/document memorable moments to tell the "Summit Story" Physical Requirements •Up to 10 hours a day of either standing, walking, hiking, and the ability to lift 50 lbs. •Can pass the physical exam and approved for SBR height and weight requirements Uniform Summit staff uniform Housing 10x12' Platform Tent; Foxtrot Base Camp Expected Weekly Hours 45 - 55
