Cost Analyst

Reconciliation of actual cost related to direct subcontracted labor as reported in SAP with Sub Labor Invoice file, and analysis of the discrepancies. Weekly update of BI reports related to ship project direct labor. Support production management and Project Cost Control Coordinator with reconciliations and analyses of direct labor categories and man-hours. Monthly tracking and reconciliation of overseas partner's purchases. Support financial audits. Ad hoc cost analyses and reports. Perform other related duties as required and assigned. * COMPETENCIES * Ability to communicate with people of all levels in the organization Competence in financial concepts and analytical capabilities in the preparation of financial analyses Decision making/problem solving Adaptability and organizational skills Integrity Proficiency with Microsoft Excel Willingness and ability to work as a team member SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILTY This position has no supervisory responsibilities. WORK ENVIRONMENT Duties performed in an office area environment within a manufacturing facility. Environmental exposures are similar to those found in most heavy industrial settings and may include noise, heat, cold, vibration, dust, fumes and smoke.
