The Senior Manager, Forecasting role resides within the Forecasting team, which is part of the Data Science and Analytics unit and acts as the main business partner for forecasting needs across all business units (BUs). This role regularly interacts with Market Access and Brand Analytics leads to understand brand performance and market trends. The Senior Manager, Forecasting is responsible for building and maintaining demand forecasting models for the US portfolio of products and for coordinating all demand forecasting workstreams in partnership with stakeholders ranging from Finance to Market Access and Trade. Responsibilities: Develop and implement accurate demand forecasts for entire Ferring portfolio of products using advanced quantitative methods, including exponential smoothing, Holt-Winters, ARIMA, and regression analysis. Analyze and interpret key pharmaceutical datasets such as Xponent, DDD, and claims data to inform forecasting models and business decisions. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, sales, supply chain, and finance, to ensure alignment of forecasts with business strategies and objectives. Monitor and refine forecasting models to improve accuracy and reliability over time. Provide actionable insights and recommendations based on forecasting results to support strategic planning and operational decision-making. Stay current with industry trends, emerging methodologies, and best practices in pharmaceutical forecasting and analytics. Prepare and present detailed forecasting reports and presentations to senior leadership and stakeholders. Manage multiple forecasting projects simultaneously, ensuring timely and high-quality delivery of results. Requirements: Minimum of a Bachelor of Science degree in business management, finance, statistics, or a related field. MBA / advanced degree preferred. 5+ years of experience in pharmaceutical forecasting, commercial analytics, or relevant experience in a consulting firm. US specialty market and launch experience preferred. Excellent influencing, communication, and interpersonal skills. Ability to influence and interact at multiple levels of the organization, manage multiple competing priorities, and drive decisions that lead to positive business outcomes. Strong analytical, business acumen, and problem-solving skills with hands-on experience with SQL and data visualization tools such as Power BI Demonstrated analytical, interpretative, and problem-solving skills. Proven ability to socialize relevant insights and takeaways more broadly and influence business decisions and priorities. Knowledge of the pharmaceutical industry and external factors influencing market dynamics. Highly developed communication skills with the ability to story-tell using data and influence executive leadership in a way that can bridge the gaps among multiple stakeholders (technical and non-technical) at varying levels. Strong ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously, balancing priorities, and working with cross-functional teams. Mastery of pharmaceutical industry data sources such as Prescription, APLD, Non-retail, Hospital and Boutique/SP) required. Highly proficient in Microsoft Office applications (specifically Excel and PowerPoint). Our Compensation and Benefits At Ferring, base salary is one part of our competitive total compensation and benefits package and is determined using a salary range. The base salary range for this role is $103,550 to $188,500, which is the reasonable estimate of the base compensation for this role. The actual amount paid may differ based on non-discriminatory factors such as experience, knowledge, skills, abilities, education and primary work location. Additional compensation for this role will be provided based on competitive annual incentive compensation targets in the form of an annual bonus - payouts are based on individual and company performance. Benefits for this role include: comprehensive healthcare (medical, dental, and vision) with a premium differential, inverse to base salary, to be paid by employees; a 401k plan and company match; short and long-term disability coverage; basic life insurance; wellness benefits; reimbursement for certain tuition expenses; sick time frontloaded yearly of 40 hours, or higher if state or local law requires; vacation time for full time employees to accrue between 112.5 and 150 hours yearly in the first four (4) years of employment, and additional accruals starting in the fifth (5th) year of employment; and 12 to 13 paid holidays per year.
