Intelligence Federal is a fast-growing government contracting company seeking Paralegal to support the US Department of Justice (DOJ) in the National Security Division (NSD). This is a critical position supporting agency attorneys and will require the Paralegal to undergo the process to receive a Federal Top Secret Clearance. Location: Onsite in Washington, DC in a Sensitive Compartmented Information Facility (SCIF). JOB DUTIES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO: Tracking and managing the flow of documents and other investigative, litigation, or case-related materials Liaising with Litigation Support Services and section data management with respect to uploading, organizing, filtering, reviewing, and transferring or producing documents and electronically stored information Performing document review in eDiscovery platforms such as Relativity and Everlaw Assisting in trial preparation including scheduling interviews, hearings, witnesses, depositions, and other related discussions Assisting with research, writing, and related task such as, creating first drafts of documents such as memos, subpoenas, and discovery dover letters SECURITY CLEARANCE Must be eligible to obtain a federal Top Secret Clearance. Having an active federal clearance at any level already is a plus. Please make sure your clearance level is listed on your resume. Candidates will need to obtain at least an interim clearance before starting in the position. Must be a US Citizen. QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS & SELECTION CRITERIA Bachelor's degree required. Must be willing to work onsite in a SCIF central Washington, DC Paralegal certificate or one to two years (1-2 years) of experience as a paralegal Experience working with a federal or state legal entity preferred Should have a familiarity with or understanding of eDiscovery tools such as Relativity Must have a working knowledge of legal research tools such as LEXIS and WestLaw Proficient in litigation discovery software and MS Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint and Adobe PDF Excellent written and oral communication skills Ability to work well within groups handling large volumes of work Ability to work independently Anticipated salary range: $45,000-95,000 John J.
