Job Description JOB DESCRIPTION SUMMARY Incumbent is responsible for supporting the Vice President & Treasurer in acquiring financing that is most powerful to the organization in terms of structure, price and term. The incumbent is responsible for supervising the organization's day to day cash management operations and bank reconciliation activities. The incumbent is also responsible for forecasting the company's financing requirements as well as researching, evaluating and implementing the most cost-effective banking and financial services, including finance aspects of operational activities. This role requires 4 days in office and 1 day remote (Tuesday & Wednesday are required in-office days). This role is also located in St Louis, Missouri. ESSENTIAL JOB RESPONSIBILITIES Manage relationships with key financing partners and make arrangements as needed to optimize the company's capital structure and support the company's growth plan. Oversee preparation of debt covenant calculations quarterly. Oversee preparation of Case and Debt portions of Quarterly Financial Review. Supervise daily treasury management responsibilities. Provide guidance on bank reconciliations, and cash-related accounting. Prepare/review ongoing cash flow forecasts and develop strategies to achieve optimal borrowing/investing. Manage finance aspects of operational activities, including armored car, payment card processors and associations, check processing, eCommerce partnerships, in-store banks, etc., in cooperation with both internal and external partners Work with Treasurer and Treasury staff to research, recommend and implement banking arrangements and services. This includes analyzing new products and services as presented by key finance partners. Provide in depth valuation analysis of potential growth opportunities that support our company's strategic pillars and growth initiatives. MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS Required Education: Bachelor's degree Other Requirements: CTP, CPA or CFA designation preferred Minimum Years of Experience: 3 to 5 years in a Finance or Accounting role REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES Knowledge Working knowledge of complex financial concepts, including corporate finance, investment management and GAAP Working knowledge of Treasury products and services Proficient in Microsoft Office, with emphasis in Microsoft Excel Proficient in PeopleSoft Skills & Abilities Proven project management skills with experience in organizing, planning and executing projects, involving internal staff, contractors, and vendors Strong analytical and critical thinking skills Strong interpersonal and leadership skills FORMAL POLICY SETTING Makes recommendations to management PHYSICAL REQUIREMENT AND WORK ENVIRONMENT Walking Primarily sitting Standing Primarily sitting Lifting Up to 25 lbs Travel 0-25% Work Environment Office environment The above statements describe the job's essential responsibilities and requirements.
