Litigation paralegal

A women-owned, mid-size California law firm seeks an Associate Attorney - General Liability / Professional Liability for litigation defense work. This position is in office the first month, and then hybrid with 3 days in office/week. Position requires (i) 3+ years' recent experience in civil litigation - employment and/or wage and hour class action/PAGA experience required; (ii) proficiency in the use of Word, Outlook, and One Drive; and (iii) the ability to handle working with several different databases of information and comfortable organizing data. Position includes a base salary of $70,000-95,000 DOE + annual bonus + excellent benefits (including no health insurance premiums). salary: $70,000 - $95,000 per year shift: First work hours: 8 AM - 4 PM education: No Degree Required Responsibilities Conduct legal research Update and maintain internal databases Organize exhibits, documents, evidence, briefs, and appendices Aid attorneys with interrogatories and other discovery requests Gather relevant information from a variety of sources Liaise between trial team and internal/external third parties Communicating with retained experts and preparing relevant materials for expert review Help with voir dire, jury selection and witness preparation Subpoena medical, billing, and radiology records, employment records, workers compensation records, and other entities Prepare comprehensive medical chronologies and Howell analysis Summarize written discovery and document productions Conduct background checks, social media investigations, litigation history Skills Civil Litigation Civil Litigation Defense Employment Law Wage and hour class action Qualifications Years of experience: 3 years Experience level: Experienced Randstad is a world leader in matching great people with great companies.
