Job Details Job Location SNP Wentzville - Wentzville, MO Position Type Full Time Travel Percentage Negligible Job Shift Day Job Category Management Description Position Specifics Department: Service Reports to: VP of Aftermarket Supervises: Centralized Transportation Team Revenue Generating: No Purpose Supports sales and service departments by profitability managing pickup and delivery of equipment. Centralized contact for scheduling all transportation requests received from Sales and Service Departments. Responsibilities Optimizes vehicle assets to improve routing and capacity, ensuring timely pickup and deliveries Communicates accurate pickup/delivery dates and details with internal and external stakeholders Accurately posts monthly expenses Ensures compliance with federal, state, and local transport and vehicle regulations, reporting and permitting processes Responsible for driver staffing, compliance, coaching and employee development activities Review driver hours and approve for payroll Manages lifecycle of transport equipment, aids in determination of transportation needs and required capabilities within budget Analyze data and reports for continuous improvement opportunities within the department Continued professional development of coaching and change management to help lead an effective team Qualifications Experience, Education, Skills and Knowledge Understanding of delivery logistics and regulatory delivery practices Understanding of DOT transport and vehicle regulations Knowledge of basic computer applications, Microsoft programs as well as scheduling applications Basic machinery and vehicle capability knowledge Experience communicating effectively verbally over the phone and in person, as well as in writing High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent experience required
