Texas Tissue Converting is currently hiring Manufacturing Janitors for our Manufacturing Plant! We are located in North Houston and offer a full benefits package and competitive pay! Must be able to work rotational shifts including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed. Daily Responsibilities: Remove paper waste from production lines by loading large rolling carts and pushing them to the bailer to compact into bundles. May require the movement of waste bales by pallet jack or forklift. Assist operators in removing cores from the line. Sweep floors of production areas, walk areas, and warehouse. Empty all trash containers located in the warehouse at least once per shift. Physical ability to use cleaning tools, electrical hand tools, and compressed air. May assist on the line as needed for rework in the packaging area; training will be provided for this. Position Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent. Forklift experience and/or pallet jack experience is a plus. Attention to detail and safety as this position will be working around moving parts. Must be able to complete duties with minimal supervision. Excellent work history and attendance. Must be able to work 12-hour rotating shifts. Must be able to work nights, weekends, and holidays. Physical Ability and Demand: Must be able to lift, sit, stand, or walk for long periods. Tasks involve the ability to exert physical effort, which may include lifting, carrying, pushing, and/or pulling objects and materials of up to 30 lbs. Tasks involve pushing, pulling, twisting, stooping, kneeling, crawling, reaching, grasping, and repetitive motions. Ability to work in climate-controlled and non-controlled environments (hot and cold conditions).
