Phlebotomist - Floater

Job Title: Phlebotomist - Floater Contract Duration: 4+ Months Pay range $20 - 24/hr Work Type: Onsite, 1st Shift Location: Waterbury, CT About the Role: As a Phlebotomist III - Float, you will be a key member of our team, providing exceptional patient care and ensuring smooth operations across multiple locations. You will perform phlebotomy procedures, train new staff, and serve as a resource for complex patient interactions. Key Responsibilities: Perform phlebotomy procedures on patients of all ages. Prepare and process blood specimens for laboratory testing. Adhere to all safety and regulatory guidelines. Train and mentor new phlebotomists. Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to specimen collection and processing. Provide excellent customer service. Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure patient care. Travel to various locations as needed. Required Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent. Medical assistant or paramedic training is preferred. Phlebotomy certification preferred (required in CA, NV, and WA). 5+ years of phlebotomy experience. 3+ years of experience in a patient service center or in-office phlebotomy environment. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Flexibility to work various shifts and travel to different locations.
