We offer 232 guest rooms, with 24 mini suites, 5 suites, along with 35,000 square feet of flexible meeting space. We also offer a variety of catering options for our events and functions, all produced by our dynamic kitchen team. Job Description Sturbridge Host Hotel + Conference Center is a leading event and hospitality venue dedicated to creating unforgettable experiences. With a commitment to excellence and a passion for hospitality, we are looking for a dynamic Event Sales Manager to join our team and contribute to our continued success. Job Description: As a Event Sales Manager at the Sturbridge Host Hotel + Conference Center, you will play a pivotal role in driving revenue growth and ensuring the successful execution of events, by working with our dynamic teams. You will be responsible for developing and maintaining client relationships and coordinating events from inception to completion. Key Responsibilities: Sales and Business Development: Identify and pursue new business opportunities to drive sales growth. Build and maintain strong client relationships through effective communication and exceptional service. Prepare and deliver compelling presentations and proposals to prospective clients. Reach out to past clients to maintain relationship along with rebooking business. Catering Management: Collaborate with the culinary team to create innovative and customized catering menus by ensuring the banquet event orders are complete and accurate. Oversee the planning and execution of catering events, with the assistance of our teams to ensuring they meet or exceed client expectations. Ensuring banquet event orders are complete according to client's expectations. Event Coordination: Work closely with clients to understand their event requirements and preferences. Coordinate all logistical aspects of events via the banquet event order, including room setups, audiovisual equipment, and catering services in our catering system. Ensure events run smoothly and troubleshoot any issues that may arise. Work with event departments, ensuring both team success as well as client success for event. Qualifications Proven track record of success in sales, with experience in the hospitality industry. Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Excellent organizational and time management abilities. A desire to contribute to the success of the business, by focusing on sales Detail-oriented with a focus on delivering exceptional customer service. Ability to work well under pressure and adapt to changing priorities. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and event management software (e.g., event planning software, CRM systems). Excellent phone skills along with quick follow up on voicemails. Additional Information A few additional requirements to be successful.
