FTE: 0.001000 Shift: Shift 1 Job Summary: The massage therapist provides quality massage therapy in a manner that is holistic and respectful of the individual's personal rights and dignity. Services are provided in a therapeutic environment conducive to relaxation, stress reduction, pain release and health promotion. Other duties as assigned. Other information: EXPERIENCE DESCRIPTION: Minimum of 500 hours of massage therapy experience is required. Experience in Oncology Massages or willingness to take training classes for Oncology massage. LICENSURE DESCRIPTION: Current Massage Therapy licensure by the Wisconsin Department of Regulation and Licensing is required. EDUCATION DESCRIPTION: Graduate of an accredited school of massage therapy or holds National Certification in Therapeutic Massage and Body Work is required. PLEASE NOTE: This is an independent contractor position providing Relaxation or Swedish massages to patients and their caregivers in the Cancer centers at Froedtert and the Medical College of Wisconsin. Number of days and hours are flexible but may be subject to room availability. Opportunities available in Milwaukee and Oak Creek. All equipment and clean linens provided. Appointments managed by coordinator on site.
