F/T LITIGATION PARALEGAL

Prestigious, full service, Long Island law firm seeks F/T Paralegal in the Litigation Department with at least 2 years of experience in commercial litigation. The candidate must have a Bachelor's Degree or a Paralegal Certificate and be proficient in Word, Excel and Outlook. The position also requires proficiency with New York State's e-filing system (NYSCEF) and Federal Court PACER system, and familiarity with State and Federal Court rules and procedures. Experience in legal research (Westlaw) is preferred. Responsibilities will include aiding in discovery, including review, organization, indexing and summarizing documents; assisting in preparing pleadings, motions, and correspondence; and assisting with preparation for depositions and trials, among other things. The firm's offices are centrally located on Long Island in one of the region's premier buildings.
