Production Superintendent

The Judge Group is seeking a Production Manager for a forest product manufacturing company in Chester, SC areaTitle: Production Manager Location: Chester, SC Salary: 90,000 - $110,000 Shift: Days Responsibilities: Oversee Production: Manage production and manufacturing processes in line with established specifications, quality standards, delivery timelines, and cost benchmarks to continually enhance operational efficiency, economy, and safety. Ensure Workplace Safety: Create a safe working environment for employees that surpasses regulatory compliance requirements. Equipment and Supplies Management: Collaborate with suppliers and advise the Plant Manager on the necessary equipment and supplies to maintain an efficient, modern manufacturing facility. Project and Equipment Coordination: Coordinate engineering efforts on new projects and existing equipment upgrades, and prepare supporting data for AFEs. Safety Meetings and Training: Develop monthly safety meeting agendas and training : Bachelor's degree preferred 8+ years a manufacturing supervisory experience 3+ years in forest production manufacturing (paper, pulp, wood, etc.)
