Production Manager

Responsibilities:Supervise and coordinate production efforts for long-term process improvements, including environmental and safety compliance.Promote team development, effective communication, and employee skill growth.Establish and clarify roles and expectations for direct reports, providing necessary coaching and feedback.Drive cultural change to encourage employee ownership of facility operations (team size: 10-15 members).Support flexible shift schedules, including rotating day/night/weekend/holiday shifts.Work in various environments like confined spaces, high locations, and extreme appropriate PPE and adhere to safety protocols.Basic Qualifications:Supervisory experience in industrial, manufacturing, or military settings with a solid understanding of production, HR, EHS, and quality in MS Word and Excel for document creation, report preparation, and data analysis.Proven experience in coaching, counseling, and developing employees.Preferred Qualifications:Knowledge and experience with OSB or wood products.Familiarity with advanced reliability skills such as thermography, vibration analysis, and least three years of supervisory experience in industrial manufacturing.Bachelor's degree in engineering, business, wood science, or a related field.
