If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you. We are a specialist in providing heavy hauling and multi-modal transport solutions, looking to appoint an experienced Logistics Manager to our growing team. Reporting to the V.P. of Operations, you will manage everything from inventory control to trucking logistics, ensuring that our processes run smoothly and efficiently. You will work closely with the Operations Manager to support ongoing projects and help ensure we deliver on time and within budget. Ready to bring your logistics expertise to a dynamic and growing company? Apply today! Key Responsibilities: Inventory Control Manage warehouse inventory and maintain records at all terminals. Maintain control of durable goods inventory and ensure balanced stockage. Oversee the supply purchasing and distribution process. Manage and maintain load inventories to ensure proper stock of tools and equipment. Inspect items (e.g., slings) and coordinate outsourcing for required inspections. Manage and coordinate repair needs for warehouse and yard inventory, including jacks, rams, slings, etc. Trucking Manage the Dispatch Team to ensure timely and efficient delivery of equipment to job sites. Ensure accurate production and maintenance of shipping logs and Bills of Lading (BOLs). Select carriers for transportation and negotiate contracts and rates. Forecast Equipment Requirements Analyze upcoming projects and determine equipment needs. Advise the Operations team of equipment shortages. Coordinate equipment purchases or rentals to address shortages.
