We are revolutionizing the housing industry, manufacturing multi-story, prefabricated modular apartment housing in Columbus, Ohio, by providing high-quality affordable housing. The Production Manager at Connect Housing Blocks is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the production floor, ensuring that manufacturing processes run smoothly, efficiently, and safely. This role includes managing production schedules, supervising staff, and maintaining quality standards. What we can offer YOU: Health insurance Paid time off 401k Growth opportunities Pay: Starting at $80,000/year, offer dependent on experience Schedule: Monday - Friday 7:30 AM - 4:30 PM In office The right candidate will have: Bachelor's degree in business, engineering, or related field preferred 5+ years of experience in a production management role within a manufacturing environment Ability to interact clearly and effectively, in both written and oral communication, with vendors, management, co-workers in English Ability to apply general concepts such as percentages, addition, subtraction, division, and multiplication to practical situations Our Production Manager will: Plan, organize, and direct production activities to meet daily, weekly, and monthly targets Supervise, train, and evaluate production staff, ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards Develop and maintain production schedules to optimize efficiency and minimize downtime Monitor production processes and adjust optimize workflow and reduce waste Collaborate with the maintenance team to ensure equipment is properly maintained and operational Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, conducting regular safety meetings and inspections Coordinate with other departments, such as logistics and quality control, to meet production goals Prepare and present production reports to upper management, analyzing performance and recommending improvements Implement and monitor continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity and product quality Manage production inventory, ensuring materials are available to meet production needs Interested in becoming our Production Manager?
