Job Overview: The Procurement Associate Manager of Supply Services will be responsible for managing and optimizing procurement for Energy and Capital. This role involves conducting detailed spend, cost, and market analysis, and employing a structured approach to tendering and negotiating with suppliers. The role requires developing and maintaining vendor relationships, tracking vendor performance, and aligning with internal stakeholders and external partners to address business priorities and cost reduction opportunities. Key Responsibilities: Develop and implement a comprehensive procurement strategy for Capital and Energy aligned with organizational goals. Apply spend analytics best practices and conduct frequent deep dives in assigned categories. Update annual Supplier Segmentation and manage risk. Monitor energy costs, identify cost savings or optimization opportunities, and work with finance, plant leaders, and sustainability teams to develop budgets, track expenses, and report on energy procurement performance. Follow Global Procurement governance including CRMC approvals, eSourcing tools, and Supplier Code of Conduct sign-off. Evaluate and recommend technologies or practices based on business priorities; align resources and priorities through stakeholder engagement. Identify and evaluate new suppliers, negotiate contracts, manage relationships, ensure compliance with contractual terms, monitor performance, and resolve issues. Collaborate with internal stakeholders on efficiency improvements, sustainability initiatives, and new Capital investments. Engage with senior leaders and global engineering teams to present project status, market updates, and escalate issues. Stay updated with industry developments, including energy markets, pricing trends, regulatory frameworks, and technologies. Education: bachelor's degree in supply chain, Business, Science, Engineering, Finance, Accounting, Information Systems, or a relevant field Skills Expected: Strong Business Analysis: Use data and tools to support recommendations and decision-making. Negotiation Skills: Professionalism, emotional control, and effective communication. Teamwork and Relationship Building: Manage relationships at all levels and work collaboratively. Project Management: Set priorities, manage projects, and work cross-functionally. Proactive and Dynamic Attitude: Leadership on key initiatives.
