Overview: ORGANIZATION SUMMARY Family Residences and Essential Enterprises, Inc. POSITION SUMMARY Under the supervision of the Sr. Vice President of Development and Mission Advancement, the Coordinator of Events and Fund Development serves as an essential resource to the agency by cultivating brand awareness, building positive relationships, and generating financial and other resources through securing corporate and foundation sponsorships. The coordinator is responsible for organizing and planning all events, campaigns and fundraising efforts for the FREE Network. Responsibilities include but are not limited to soliciting donors, networking with local community groups, researching and identifying potential donors and handling all related financial transactions. Responsibilities: DUTIES, RESPONSIBILITIES, AND ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS Works in collaboration with Senior Vice President to execute FREEs strategic goals aligned with the agencys core priorities. Cultivates and manages key relationships with existing and prospective partners and donors. Co-leads all aspects of campaign and event planning logistics, including preparing event budgets, printed and electronic materials, committees, volunteers, vendors and subcontractors. The above applies to other projects and duties as they are assigned. Collaborates and partners with agency divisions to expand our culture of philanthropy and project-based fundraising. Attends and actively participates in community functions to network and identify potential corporate donors, grants, volunteers, and committee members. Monitors trends in event planning, corporate funding, cause marketing, and corporate foundations. Collaborates with board members, executive leadership, and staff to enhance all potential funding opportunities. Tracks and analyzes fund development data through the agency donor applications/systems (DonorPerfect). Provides dashboards, reports/queries required for management, boards, and financial reconciliation between departments. Works directly with the accounting team to collect past due pledges as well as manage monthly vendor reports. Ensures that all required documentation (paper and electronic) is completed /processed appropriately, in a timely manner, and meets quality and compliance thresholds. Performs other duties as assigned. Qualifications: QUALIFICATIONS Education: High School Diploma required, bachelors degree strongly preferred. Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience in fundraising (nonprofit a plus), through a combination of (traditional and nontraditional) work experience, education, volunteering, etc. Experience with DonorPerfect or related software required. Experience working with senior/executive leadership to set organizational goals and implement strategy. Specialized Training, Licenses, Certifications: Not required, training will be provided upon hire as needed. Knowledge, Skills, Competencies, and Abilities: Proficiency in using Microsoft Office suite and databases, as well as creating charts and spreadsheets. Intrinsic knowledge of event planning timelines, corporate social responsibility programs, donor acquisition and advancement, sponsorship, and cause-marketing; deep understanding of current trends and best practices in corporate social responsibility is highly desirable. Exceptional time and project management skills; ability to consistently meet deadlines under pressure. Outstanding communication skills, both orally and in writing, with an ability to effectively engage as well as ability to present before a group. Extremely polished interpersonal skills with a proven ability to work with diverse people and groups in multicultural environments. Ability to work within an exciting, fast-paced environment while multitasking and meeting deadlines in a results-driven fashion; demonstrated resourcefulness in setting priorities and guiding investments in people and systems. Other Requirements: Valid NYS Drivers License and satisfy criteria to be a driver for FREE. Flexible schedule a must. Demonstrate excellence, caring, collaboration, and accountability, and contribute to FREEs overall financial success. WORK ENVIRONMENT This role is performed in-person. Some travel to/from locations outside and within the FREE Network. The Pay Range for this job is $28.13 per hour- $30.05 Per hour This range is based on what FREE reasonably believes it will pay an employee as for said position at the time of the posting. Individual compensation will ultimately be determined based on a variety of relevant factors, including, but not limited to, an individuals experience, qualifications, services provided, geographic location, relevant skills, and other factors permitted under federal, state, and local laws.
