This role is expected to meet all drawing requirements as it meets military standards in industrial painting. However, this role is not limited to Painting, the individual is also responsible to aid the Operations organization through a variety of Operational Functions (i.e., Helicoil Installation, Iridite, Paint, ESS) on an as needed basis. Responsibilities: Painting / Marking / Coating Units / Touch up painting Installing Helicoils Applying irridite (Chromate conversion) ESS related tasks (loading overs, burn-in, thermal shock and vibration) Seam sealing Feed thru replacement Weekly sample testing Ability to support production as required Qualifications: Minimum: High School diploma or equivalent. Minimum 2 years experience in Paint, masking, iridite or conformal coating. This position requires access to technology, materials, software or hardware that is controlled by US export laws. In order to be eligible for this position, you must be a US Person under US export laws (or eligible for approval under a U.S. Government export license). Ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance. Preferred: High School diploma or equivalent and minimum 4 years' experience in paint, masking, iridite or conformal coating. Experience with MIL-STD-883, MIL-STD-22750, MIL-PRF-23377 (type 1 class 2), MIL-C-8514, MIL-DTL-5541. Experience masking small packages. Mechanical aptitude. Willingness to learn new skills. Ability to maintain sensitive and confidential information as required by government standards. Ability to interact effectively with peers and supervisors. Ability to adhere to workplace rules, policies and procedures. Ability to use small hand tools such as tweezers, probes and x-acto knives. Ability to work in a Spray booth. Ability to Standup for long durations of time. Excellent eye hand coordination. Ability to use a microscope. Hourly Range: $18.00 - $29.00 hourly (Woburn, MA) - Applicable pay within the posted range may vary based on factors including, but not limited to, geographical location, job function of the position, education, and experience of the successful candidate.
