This role will be located at one of Discovery Land Company's Corporate Office locations in Scottsdale, Arizona. Discovery Land Company is seeking a full-time, year-round Senior Financial Analyst to join the Finance and Accounting Department. Job Summary: The Senior Financial Analyst for Discovery Land Company will be responsible for overseeing financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting processes for the Development and Club teams. Duties & Responsibilities: Work with project teams to oversee monthly update of business model for actuals and reforecast. Work closely with Director of Finance and project teams to build out and review monthly cost of sales models. Preparing 90-day cash flow forecasts. Assisting with tracking budget v. actuals. Prepare core monthly and quarterly Real Estate financial reports, including portfolio financial reviews. Working closely with investor groups, project, and corporate teams to Prepare ad-hoc Real Estate analysis as necessary. Provide assistance in preparation of the month-end consolidated financial reporting package. Participate in the annual external audit exercise. Participate and embrace systems. Skills & Qualifications: 3+ years of experience as a general accountant or financial analyst Bachelor's degree, preferably in Finance, Accounting, Business, or equivalent. Familiarity with financial accounting concepts and practices. Experience working in real estate development highly preferred. Experience in financial statement preparation and consolidation. Proficient using Sage accounting software (Intacct), Timberline or experience using similar software. Strong financial modeling skills. Proficient using Excel required.
