Ability to clean patient rooms, public spaces and the collection of trash and biohazardous material. Familiar with using vacuum, wide vacuum, mop, wringer, burnisher, ladder, extractor. Ability to assist family members and patients of all ages. Ability to identify and or perform light maintenance requests Initiates and maintains positive relationships with patients and coworkers. Takes responsibility for self-development and supports a learning environment. Displays commitment to the mission of the hospital and its values. Demonstrates strong interpersonal skills and excellent communication skills, as well as, exhibits a strong work ethic and the ability to work independently. May work in any location on client premises. Responsibilities may differ among locations, depending on business necessities and client requirements. Qualifications: High School Equivalent / GED 5 plus years of cleaning experience required. Completion of designed Tri-C courses. Experience in hospital setting preferred . Exposure/experience with floor work. Cleaning and major surface maintenance experience in hospital setting preferred but not required.
