Employment Type: Part time Shift: Day Shift Description: Summary This role is a perfect way to support our patients walking through Breast Cancer. The schedule has the ability to be flexible with hours and days during the week as long as they are consistent hours Monday-Friday 8am-5pm. Job Title: Mastectomy Fitter - Part-Time 20-hours/week Position Summary: The Mastectomy Fitter performs a wide range of duties from direct patient care to general clerical duties. What the Mastectomy Fitter will do: Consults with mastectomy patients and preforms an assessment of cosmetic needs and goals. Develops a fitting plan and determine options, performs patient fittings and educates patients on options. Supports and conforms to the ABC Code of Professional Responsibility. General clerical duties: schedules meetings, creates & maintains filing systems. What the Mastectomy Fitter will need: High school diploma required. College level coursework preferred. Mastectomy Fitter Certification from The American Board for Certification in Orthotics, Prosthetics, and Pedorthics required or must be obtained within 6 months of employment. One year of experience in retail/healthcare setting Strong knowledge of breast DME, bras, and breast surgery outcomes. Excellent customer service skills.
