Job Description Mission/Purpose of the Role: To direct B2B sales strategy while building a motivated and successful sales team, increasing the customer base and sales volume to existing customers. Outcomes (Key Results): Account Growth: grow existing accounts by increasing the number of sales and size of orders through team work. New Account Acquisition: Use existing market research to acquire new accounts by training and coaching the sales team. Revenue Targets: Motivate and coach sales team to revenue targets. Customer Satisfaction: Maintain a high level of customer satisfaction as measured by feedback and account retention rates by ensuring prompt responses to customers and lead inquiries. Product Knowledge: Demonstrate a deep understanding of the company's products and services and effectively communicate their value to customers. Sales Process: Help develop and teach sales processes and create procedures that you provide accountability for to ensure accurate data entry and documentation to reflect where we are in the sales process for each lead. Sales Pipeline Management: Manage and maintain a sales pipeline with enough qualified leads and opportunities to support revenue targets. Requirements Core Competencies (Behaviors and Traits): Sales Experience: Proven track record of successful sales team management, ideally in a similar industry such as hardscape, landscape, or lighting. Technology skills: Be digitally proficient to use systems to pull and manipulate data to support the sales organization and provide reporting to management. Customer Rapport: Ability to coach team members on developing customer relationships that support the companies sales targets. Persistence: Demonstrates tenacity and resilience in pursuing sales objectives and teaching team members to overcome objections and make the sale. Product Adaptability: Quickly grasp and become proficient in understanding new products or services, and effectively communicate their value, teaching this to team members. Sales Management Skills: Possesses strong sales skills, can lead team members toward a common goal, with motivation training and encouragement. Self-Motivated: Takes initiative, feels ownership of their area of responsibility, and consistently strives to meet and exceed sales targets.
